2025 PHOF Posthumous Award
Jacqueline M. Walsh

The Pawtucket Hall of Fame honors the late Jacqueline M. Walsh, a lifelong educator whose 32-year career shaped generations of students and teachers. Beginning as a classroom teacher in 1969, she rose to Deputy Superintendent of Schools, championing academic excellence and curriculum innovation. A joint resolution of the Rhode Island Senate recognized her service in 2001. After retirement, she mentored future educators at Providence College. Her legacy lives on through the Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a tribute to her belief in the power of education to inspire and transform young lives.
