For more than six decades, John Q. Calista, Jr. dedicated his life to serving Pawtucket, helping guide the city through periods of profound economic and social change. As a redevelopment leader, elected official and tireless civic volunteer, he helped rebuild neighborhoods, strengthen the community and shape a better future for generations of Pawtucket residents.
